I don't see anything wrong with anyone requesting this feature. I may
not use it myself, but I could see where it might be faster, simpler and
more intuitive. The whole idea behind a smart phone and Siri is to make
things easier. I mean I could always toggle VoiceOver on and off with a
triple click of the home button, once I set it up, but people seem to
really like this relatively new feature, and I can see that it has it's
advantages.
