Frankly, no. I am not waiting to see what else comes out by CSUN. I can't imagine that anybody else is going to come out with a blindness specific OCR application. And the mainstream stuff just doesn't have the specific features that help so many of us get it right. If you can get good scans with Prizmo or some other similar app, more power to you. You can save some money. But, to expect someone to come out with a free application, or nearly free, that has the features we want… Keep waiting. Perhaps APH will release their OCR app for mainstream android. Of course, as far as I know, it does not have the features that KM FB has in terms of ease of orientation for a totally blind person. But, based on the android special app that APH has, I wouldn't expect that OCR app to be anything close to free, as it should not be. So, who do you suppose would release a blindness oriented app for OCR that would cost, say, $10 or so? Mary
