Yes, but on occasion SIRI has been doing this before iOS 8 as well. Wjhat is happening more is that SIRI will start to reply and then cut off and you have to review the screen for the answer. I believe Jonathan tested this without Voiceover and found that SIRI is more flaky with Voiceover running.
