I like to read and download books with the BARD app and do some searching to, or at least browse the wish list and recently added audio books lists. I did notice over the weekend that the time it takes for me to download a book with the iPhone 6 is drastically less than with the older iPhone 5. I have a wifi network with good download speeds at around 45 or 50 megabytes. However, downloading books with the iPhone 5 often took a longer than normal time. For a 10 hour book, it often took between 3-8 minutes. Now though, on my iPhone 6 with all its newer hardware and wifi capabilities, I was able to download that same 10 hour book in less than 30 seconds. So it could also be the device you are using to download the book. I still prefer to use my computer to search for an add books to my wish list, but now I really like downloading them to the iPhone 6.
