Hi all, My question is concerning being able to receive and make calls on other IOS devices which are near my iPhone 5S. I have an iPad mini, and also an iPhone 4S, which are all running IOS 8.02. They both ring when I have an incoming call. I am able to call out with my iPad but not my iPhone 4S. Not only am I unable to call, but I am also unable to send iMessages. I keep getting the message that it is waiting for activation. I know this is because it is actually a phone and, since it has no service, therein lies the problem. My question is this: Can anything be done to enable me to both make calls and send iMessages? My phone still has the old SIM card, and I don't know if that is causing a problem or not. It's not essential that I be able to use this phone, but it would be nice if possible. TIA for any suggestions you may have...and thanks for reading.
