That just might be the problem. I'll try taking that part of the case off
and putting it on again and see what happens. Normally I've not had this
problem with the otterbox cases and the touch screen has worked perfectly.

Is the case firmly against the phone's surface? That might prevent the
touch screen from being activated on a consistent basis. I'm just thinking
out loud, so am not sure.

Subject: Otterbox case problem

Hi all,
I just recently got my iPhone 6 and an otterbox defender case. I put the
case on the phone and it fit fine. For some reason when I flick right or
left on the phone the phone won't respond. This did not happen with the
phone out of a case. My guess is that it is the screen protecter on the
otterbox case. Anyone else had this problem? I'm a true otterbox fan but
this time I'm kind of disappointed and where the lightning cable port is it
is hard to get it in which has happened for some people on this list before
but never for me. I might have to switch to a different case. Any thoughts
on cases?
Wendy
