Hi, Yes, it does this for me too, but as soon as I don't swipe but just touch the screen somewhere in the middle I am in the list of available tones and then if I swipe backwards I can swipe left all the way past the vibration setting and back to the right into the list of tones and it doesn't crash. Just some oddity but definitely not a big deal and easily circumvented.
If you have more than one mail account it's better anyways to set the mail notification sound in Settings, Notifications, Mail since here you can set different tones for your accounts.
