Hi,

Yes, it does this for me too, but as soon as I don't swipe but just touch the
screen somewhere in the middle I am in the list of available tones and then if
I swipe backwards I can swipe left all the way past the vibration setting and
back to the right into the list of tones and it doesn't crash. Just some oddity
but definitely not a big deal and easily circumvented.

If you have more than one mail account it's better anyways to set the mail
notification sound in Settings, Notifications, Mail since here you can set
different tones for your accounts.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: settings app on iphone5s crashing when attempting to change mail sound
IOS 8.0.2

Hello,
When I attempt to go to settings/sound/new mail sound and swipe past the store
option to vibration, I notice that the settings app on my iPhone5s crashes and
takes me back to the home screen. Has anyone else noticed this? Thinking that
it was too many apps in the switcher, I quit a few apps and also rebooted my
phone but none of these solutions worked.
I also tried quitting the settings app itself in the switcher but this did not
resolve the problem either.
Thanks in advance for any responses
