II have the same problem. I am using IOs7, but I noticed that when I am using siri, some times the dictate button, just disappear..

All, a friend not on list insists that his dictate button is gone; he was having issues and I think has reset his phone. IOS 8 was causing him issues and so he reset everything if I understand him correctly. Now he has tried to dictate messages, can find “next keyboard” and says only the spacebar is to the right, no more dictate button. Anyone have any ideas what I can tell him; if I have to I can manually try to fix his phone when we see him Sunday. Thanks.
