I just installed iTunes 12 and played around with it for maybe 10 minutes. Without spending more time I would say you can’t see your entire list of songs. I have been using iTunes 11 with the sidebar disaled ever since it came out and liked it better, but I am not so sure if I like iTunes 12 yet. For one thing I think it’s a pitty that the column vbrowser is gone, it was such a great way to filter by genre, artist or album. Apps, by the way, is under the more tab. Take note of the shortcut keys. They were already there in iTunes 11 and as far as I can tell they haven’t vchanged. Here are some of the important ones (this applies to Windows): Alt+1 = Music Alt+2 = Movies Alt+7 = Apps Alt+8 = Tones I like how iTunes 12 seems simpler, but as I said, I really liked the column browser. I might have to sit down with one of these weird people (you know, the ones with functioning eyeballs) and get them to explain the visual layout in details as this might help me understand how to make the most out of this. Of course I might also wait until Jonathan figures it all out and does one of his awesome Podcasts.
