I don't think anybody really knows why adding another keyboard in Settings, General, Keyboard helps, but somebody realized that after doing that a lot of the issues with bluetooth keyboards go away and for some who like me always had either another language keyboard installed or the Emoji keyboard we always wondered why we didn't have the same amount of problems.
