Hi Donald,

Yes, that is how it works. Any gift card balance is used up and the rest goes
to the credit card on file. I would maybe check around with places like Target,
Best Buy, 7 Eleven and so on to see if they have any deals on gift cards. Last
year 7 Eleven here in Canada ran a promotion where you could buy a $50 gift
card for $40, so a 20% discount. I bought 3 of them at the time and I had about
$54 left, then just before the KNFB Reader app was released 7 Eleven had
another promotion, this time only 10% off so I bought another $50 card for $45
and when I average it all out I ended up paying about $85 or so for the app.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Question re app store purchases

I plan to purchase the KNFB reader soon. Previous purchases have been
made on an iTunes gift card which now has a negligible balance which is
perhaps $12.00. When I make this $100 purchase, will the balance on the
gift card be used and the rest taken from the credit card which is on
file; or, will the entire $100 be charged to the credit card? Not a big
deal, I just wanted to know what to expect.

Thanks.

Don Roberts
