I presume there's instructions that explain this, so I'd love to read them too. Sounds like the system knows you have a phone connected with your apple id, so can forward through that; and that being so, very clever; but would like to hear it from the hoarses mouth. That would also eliminate iOs users without a phone to forward through, unless they used one of the google type services. My next guess is that apple wouldn't forward through that kind of app/service anyway.
