1. Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes 2. Go to your device and tab until you get to where is asks if you want to sync your device via WiFi. Enable that checkbox and then apply the settings. You should now be able to sync without connecting your phone. All I can say is that this used to work sometimes and other times iTunes would not see the phone or the sync would get stuck. It's also rather slow especially if you sync lots of music or movies. I have, however, not tried this in quite a long time so maybe the reliability is better now although I would expect it is still a lot slower except maybe the speed might be OK with a new iPhone 6 or 6 Plus on 802.11 AC providing you have a router which supports it.
