This sounds like mail, email even; so from the highest level where it says mailboxes, work down and find Accounts: pick the right one and double tap to open, then work down through the various folders for that account until you find Trash, and go in there; that's where the message ought to be for now. When you open that message again, you should have a Move option, so you can move it back to the Inbox.
