Wish I had read this disclaimer (or is this an admission of guilt?) before
spending the past 2 hours trying to understand why my version of AccessNote
wasn't behaving as per your description!

After completely confusing people yesterday, I now followed my own advice and
deleted and reinstalled AccessNote. I now know two things.
1. Never give advice about an app you don't use a lot and are not familiar
enough with its idiocyncracies.
2. AccessNote only has access to its own folder on DropBox.
