No, the sent mail did not get put into archive. But I just now found out that for some weird reason, I have two sent folders both under my Gmail account. And one of them has all of the sent mail going back to forever and includes messages up till now. Theother one is the one that I had been previously looking at, which has only a small number of sent messages, all of them old. I have no clue why or how I have two sent folders. But there you go. I have not seen that on my Mac, but I haven't looked recently either. Mary
