Using US English braille for my encoding, I can also generate an at sign by hitting dot 4 twice. In this encoding, you can press dot 4 and another character, and that character will yield a modified value. The unmodified value for many of the characters are accent marks. The modified values include many familiar computer braille characters and some numbers if they weren’t already available. From memory, here is what happens when I press dot 4 followed by these characters:
156: colon 146: per cent 346: plus 12456: right bracket 126: less than 345: greater than 25: colon 6: comma There are others, I’m not being systematic here. In fact, the reason there's no reference on the phone is that it uses standard rules, so a book on UEB or grade 2 is what you want. For the at sign, use dot 4, then dot 1. This should be accurate for grade 2 or UEB. Sent from my iPhone On Oct 27, 2014, at 08:26, Dan Beaver <dbeaver...@gmail.com> wrote: Hi, I am really starting to like the braille input keyboard. I am however having trouble figuring out some of the character cords. For example, how does one keying an at sign in 6 dot braille? Is there some help somewhere that gives the cords for all the characters? I have searched for it but can't seem to find it. Thanks.
