Hello list,
please, is the issue with Apple ID not being spoken solved in the latest
IOS update?
I am asking for my friend who has Iphone 5 and can't decide whether it
is worth updating the phone to the latest IOS.
Unfortunately, I cannot tell her since I am stil with iphone 4 and the
update is not available for my model.

Unfortunately, since IOS 8.0 the Caller ID has not worked.
For those of us who use voiceover, it is a bug, but I am not sure that Apple
sees it that way, as they have not done anything about it in Ios 8.1.
The way that I get the information, is that I press the power button when
someone is calling, which pauses the call.
I then swipe left, and it will tell me the callers name, or phone number.
Once I have that information, if I still want to answer the call, I swipe right
until I hear answer.
Then I doubletap.
