Try resettig your network settings. I upgraded to 8.1 last week and noticed an immediate drag on battery performance. I did disable some of the new location based features included in iOS 8.1, but that didn't help any. Before I did more drasitc stuff like start deleting apps, restoring the phone, I reset the network settings and that seemed to have fix whatever problems there were. My battery usage is now very good. I’m using an iPhone 5 by the way.

And I went out for A few hours. And came back home and the phone was locked but on and not used for anything. And the battery went down 10 percent. I have location services turned on maybe that is what is doing it. So any hints tips or tricks for getting the battery to not drain so fast in IOS 8.1? -- Casey -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
