I'm wanting people's thoughts about a basic audio recorder. I'll be
using the internal mike. Mono is fine. Format is not critical although
I would prefer something which could do both .wav and .mp3. Two things
are particularly important. First a recorder which can be easily
activated, and second, one which can run continuously for perhaps 20
minutes.
Am I correct in assuming that regardless of which recorder I use, I must
use an external headphone so as to hear voice over? It sticks in my
mind that one recorder I tested either muted voice over or severely
reduced its volume. I don't mind if I hear voice over during the first
few seconds of recording as I plan to mute voice over with a three
finger double tap until I am ready to conclude recording. In other
words, I won't be starting, stopping and then restarting.
Thanks for suggestions.
