Dear Debbie This is one of the reasons why I am still reluctant to update my iphone. It is a known ios8 bug. When this and the focus bug are resolved I’ll eventually update my iphone 5s, you are doing nothing wrong. Sometimes it reads them and other times it just gives me the time and if I want to read the notification I have to flick to the right. I’ve got speak notifications always turned on and each of my notifications is set to allow notifications on and show on locked screen on. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
