I love BlindSquare! I live in France but have my iPhone running in English.
However, I am able to set BlindSquare to speak French. I am selective about
what I want to hear, but I do like the way it announces intersections. It
usually warns me of an intersection around 15 m away and tells me the names of
the streets. It also tells me how far I’ve walked and how long it’s taken me.

I found BlindSquare invaluable when I got a new guide dog last year, before
she’d learned my usual routes. It got me home safely a number of times when we
got lost in my home village which doesn’t seem to have a straight road or
corner at 90 degrees!

Cheers,

Anne
