Previous facebook update fixed this and this recent update to Facebook broke
the accessibility on that again. I did notice that it works sometimes though.
If you doubled it to access it, and if it just says selected, what you can do
is triple click home to turn off voice over then touch the center of the phone
and then triple click home again and then you should have accessed that status.
This is assuming that you have triple click home set for voiceover.
