I totally agree. If it ain't broke, quit fixing it!! Adding new features is OK, but don't remove what works well, and don't change the layout so drastically that it doesn't even resemble what really works well. In my opinion, changing something just because you feel that it is time to do so, whether it be to antiquity or to appear to stay current, makes no sense to me at all.
