Hello, Here's the app that I use with my iPhone and it's connected to my MacBook Air 2013 via USB. The name of the app is called "Printer Pro" and the web site is: www.readdle.com. I can't provide the iTunes link because it's already installed on my phone. So, if one finds a printer that has the features that fills their needs and is in their budget, this is a way to use their printer with the iPhone. HTH.
