In iOS 8.1, a braille display will work with Voice Dream Reader just fine. The one oddity is that when you get to the end of a page/screen, you will see the percentage of progress in the book, but that isn't a big deal since now when you pan to the right, the page scrolls and you are on the first line of the next page.
