Hi Craig. I can't point you to any article but I can tell you as a sonos owner that you can send different streams to different rooms at the same time.
If you want a wireless music system that is simple to set up, accessible, has fantastic tech support and is extremely versitle then its sonos hands down. So far the bose system is in its infancy and doesn't compare to sonos yet. Sonos has been doing this the longest out of anyone and they got it right. The only system that may have better sound then the sonos are the systems mayde by blueSound but they are extremely pricy and I don't know if thtey are accessible at all.
