Hello Chris, Of course I cannot be certain but I believe your problem may be in step 3.
When you attach your phone, you must first select it in the Sources pane. Then, you must select the Apps tab located near the top of the iTunes v11 Window. This is not the same as selecting the Apps item located in the Sources Pane. Beside each app name it says, IPPLEX. Now I am not sure what to do, or what I am not doing! I am running iOS 7.1.2, and iTunes 11. Any help would be appreciated.
