Well, you know I am too lazy to look it up. The curse of spellchecking on a
literate society...

I actually had the size speaker I mentioned, but returned it because I
wanted the smaller size they also carry. It is more the size of the regular
Jambox. It is not nearly as well constructed if you count plastic housing as
a flaw, and it does not have nearly the base. Also the Bluetooth range is
not as good as the Jambox, but its retail price was $50 and I got it on sale
for $25 because it is a god-aweful color But, for streaming books, sports,
Voiceover, etc., it works quite well.

Hey, the Joy Qi speaker I mentioned the other day was purchased instead of
the Buckshot. When I was looking at the Buckshot reviews again, I saw
mention of this. Number one, I am cheap, but also I seem to collect so many
of these things, price is important to me, if not for saving money but
simply because I tire of them quickly and give them away, so initial
investment can determine what I buy, all things being equal otherwise. I
discovered something cute with the one I did get. As mentioned, it is
designed for bicycle use. I mentioned attaching it to the strap of my
shoulder bag, as you did with the Buckshot. Also, you could put this on the
grip of your white cane or even dog's harness. I have not yet had a chance
to test it in real-world traffic for navigation, though.

The best!

E

Hi Eric,

You actually got the spelling right. I haven't heard that name in a long
time, but it brings back font memories of my high-end Nakamichi cassette
deck of the late 1980's. Nakamichi was then known to make the best tape
decks in the world with the Dragon costing close to $4,000. Ah, but the
times have changed!

Regards,
Sieghard

If you can get yourself to a Sears store or shop on line, take a good look
at a brand (going to butcher the spelling here) Nakamichi.

They have a model much like the Big Jambox for about $87. It has excellent
sound. I only played with it for a short while, so I cannot comment on all
features.

Eric

My budget is $100, but that could mean used or new. i am looking for
something with good music quality that maybe sounds less tinny than the
Iphone I have heard demos of some speakers that make the music sound worse.
Please, give recommendations, I heard people mention Jambox but it gets only
a 3.9 review average at Amazon, but I don't always trust those things.
