Hi Wayne, I find that especially if you hold the phone up to your ear and you then take it away to hang up a call, the 2-finger double tap works on the first try if you give it a good 2 or 3 seconds. I think if it doesn't work the first time for me it's because I do it doo quickly. After all, the touch screen is disabled when you hold the phone up to your ear and I think it just takes a couple of seconds for it to fully register all gestures.

I have not noticed that issue, but I have noticed that I often do the gesture to hang up twice before the call is released. Not sure why this is since I am experienced in doing the 2 finger double tap, but for whatever reason it doesn't hang up the first time I do it.
