Hi Scott, Just a thought, but iOS 8.1.1 is going to specifically improve the performance of iOS 8 on older devices such as the iPhone 4S or iPad 2 and I think it is basically just around the corner. Why not wait a bit longer and then update straight to iOS 8.1.1 instead of updating to 8.1 now and then maybe in a few days you’ll have to update again. I just listened to the Today in iOS Podcast and Rob also thinks that iOS 8.1.1 could come out any day now. My guess is that it might be next week or maybe the week after so updating once to a version which specifically addresses the performance on your device makes sense to me. If you got along with 7.1.2 until now another week or two shouldn’t matter, right? If I remember correctly, at one time, the Acapella voices did not work with IOS8. Has that issue been fixed?
