Yes, I intend on saving that $100. I don't do a lot of photos, and if I do, I can always move them to some place off my phone. I refuse to let iTunes organize my musical life for me, so I don't have much music either. I think Apple has marketed this well, at least for them. 16 GB is too small for much of what people want. Since 32 is no longer available, I am guessing many people will migrate to the two other sizes. I'll be going with 64GB.
