Of course you decide when to upgrade, but iOS 8.1.1 is in my opinion a pretty good compromise. Yes, there are some bugs, but some major ones have been fixed and some of the new features are nice. Like I said, you have the information and you decide. Apple is definitely planning lots of updates to iOS 8. Usually there is only 1 major update, e.g. in iOS 7 there was 7.1 and then 7.1.2 which was the last version. It took Apple until March to release iOS 7.1 whereas this time iOS 8.1 was released in October. There are lots of rumours that Apple has already been working on iOS 8.2 and I guess there is a chance that before 8.2 we’ll see 8.1.2 so like I said, Apple may not have released iOS 8 with a minimum of bugs, but they are working hard on making it better. Keep in mind that with Android you are largely at the mercy of carriers as to when you get an update or not and many carrier do their own customizations to Android which make accessibility more difficult.
