Hi Krister,

Well, I guess that goes to show how long it's been since I have looked at
active Subwovers. I owned one about 20 years ago and it was close to $1,000 and
I just expected B&W to be expensive.
According to SIRI the $700 for the Sonos Sub converts to approx 5,200 Swedish
Kronor so yes, if the B&W is 3,000 KR less expensive than that's a significant
difference. Just keep in mind that the only Sonos player you can use an active
Sub with is the Connect Amp, the Sonos Sub can be paired with any amplified
Sonos player which basically means all of them except for the basic Connect
which is just designed to hook up to an existing receiver/amplifier.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi,
It’s funny you should say that about the B&W active sub. The one i plan to use
is aproximately 3000 swedish crowns cheaper than the Sonos sub which i feel has
a price tag that’s outrageous at least for my budget.
