Have you shut down all the apps from the app switcher? This sounds like a resource issue to me.
Or, just power down the phone and turn it back on and see if that helps, but I’d have your wife make sure nothing is in the app switcher first since you can not use VoiceOver at the moment. I was using a set of ear buds with my phone the other day, then when I took the ear buds off, and went to use the phone using it’s own speaker, I found that there was no sound. At first, I thought I had shut down Voiceover, but upon my wife looking at the screen, she reports that the rest of the phone is fine, so I asked her to turn Voiceover on for me. Well, she did just that, but Voiceover kept shutting itself off. I do have triple click home enabled, and that gives me no results, and my wife has attempted to turn Voiceover on several times, but to no avail, as it just keeps shutting itself down. Is there a fix for this, and if so, what is it? The last time I had this happen with another iPhone, I had to restore from a back-up, and had to lose a whole bunch of stuff I had on my phone. Suffice it to say, a fine time was not had by all in my household, let me tell you. Grins. Anyway, if anyone has a solution, I would appreciate hearing it. Thanks.
