Thanks to Jeremy Jeffers, an AppleVis user, I now have the answer to
this question.  To activate the "MenuOpen" button, locate the button
by touching it; then perform a three-finger right flick to expose the
items in the menu.  Try it more than once if necessary.  With the menu
enabled, additional functionality is available.

It appears that Rhapsody does not officially support VoiceOver.  The
contents of an email message from a Tech Support rep indicated he was
unfamiliar with VoiceOver.  I took the opportunity to tell him
tactfully about the screen reader and to let him know that many
software vendors built VoiceOver support into their apps.
