Hi Neil, you're not doing anything wrong. I don't know if it is actually recording video, but you can just go ahead and send it. Your message was recorded. I agree that the quality isn't that good though. Sometimes you have to kind of look for the send button I find if I flicked left after I stop the recording it's there.
