Something I’ve been encountering with my iPhone 5 recently or at least I think kso. Like many of us, I have my phone’s brightness set to zero and the screen courtain on for privacy. ON occasion, my sighted wife will ask to use my phone or I may need for her to look at something on the screenfor me. I turn the brightness up for her and then turn VO off. Now when I do this, there have been a few times in the past month or so where despite me doing this, the screen she informs me is still blacked out. It doesn’t matter if I turn the screen brightness all the way to 100%, turn Voiceover on or off or disable the screen courtain, etc. When this happens, turning the phone completely off and back on will bring the screen back. I’ve only had this device for a little under three months as it was a replacement for my other iPhone 5 that was dealing with a bad battery and malfunctioned power button. My understanding is that it is a brand new device and not reconditioned. I picked it up at the Apple store. Is anyone else dealing with this screen blackout? I would have had no clue if it weren’t for my wife pointing it out to me the few times it’s happened. -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
