As of now I don't know anything about the file management? I would like toknow more? I'm thinking about getting one.

The advantage of this drive, the transfer rates are much faster than using
wi-fi flashdrives.

Apparently yes, but it is using USB 2.0 instead of the current 3.0 speed and
for the price, some feel it should be using the latest technology especially
since it is brand new.
There are WiFi flash drives up to 1 TB that do a similar function for not
much more money.

Does the iStick have an adapter that will let it fasten into a USB port as
well as the lightening port? If so, it might provide a wonderful way to
transfer material from the iOS device to the computer and the other way as
well.

I saw the message about the ixpand by Sandisk a few days back.  The thing I
like about the istick, it doesn run on a battery like the Sandisk ixpand.
Hopefully there will soon be others on the market at a better price?

Sandisk makes a USB drive like that as well, somebody had posted a link
about it just a few days or a week ago. I had a look at this iStick and
given those prices I certainly would never buy one. I thought the 64 Gb
Sandisc was expensive at $119, but the 64 iStick beats it at $199 and $349
for 128 Gb? That's a pretty crazy price especially since you can get other
devices like WiFi capable hard drives for less and with more storage. Just
another company which makes an expensive gadget trying to separate people
from their hard-earned money *smile* and I certainly can think of things I'd
want more for that price..
