That's about all I imagine Apple is doing with your contacts. I imagine Siri 
has it as well.

  I think the idea is that if you refer to someone in your contacts, dictation 
is more likely to spell it correctly if it has access to your contacts. This 
was required by the dragon dictation app as well.
