Well, I can't set up Apple Pay, not that I go anywhere but work, because no matter how hard I try I don't have fingerprints, or at least the phone does not think I do. I swear after 38 years typing 8 hours a day, I wore them off, grin.
Anyway, have tried several times, and even with my thumbs on either hand I can't get any prints to enter. I guess it is okay, then I don't have to type in my pass code all the time, since I am unable to get a print, just like my printer does not work I guess, I turned off use pass code since the phone is always either on my person, on my desk (not at work) or on the nightstand. If I ever manage to get a print in, probably can't use Apple Pay anyway since I seem to never go anywhere but work and home over the past few months. Silly phone, I have to have fingerprints, except that once my mom worked for a school district in the cafeteria and first time they printed her they could to get a print either, they told her to use Cornhusker's lotion and come back in a week. That time they actually got fingerprints. I still say I typed mine off. Do I try the pad or the tip, maybe that will make a difference. Who knows, I might of inherited no prints from Mom. Slightly frustrated but can live without this feature, not so a real printer. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of RobH. Remember, there can be a time lag between a transaction and it showing at the bank; longer for the full details to show. Several days sometiems, even though the bank might show a total of items outstanding. Hi there! I recently got an iPhone 6 from Sprint, as I qualified for that $15 per month lease credit. I decided to experiment with Apple Pay, and last friday I decided to take Uber to go out to eat. I managed to find the Apple Pay button, which is actually the blank silent thing you can tap on in the payment methods. By the time I did the touch ID thing, the car wasn't available any more, but I got notification of the transaction almost simultaneously. When I go into Passbook now, there is this $2.15 transaction that says TBD next to it that I don't see on my online banking. Are they holding money a different way the bank hasn't built an interface to, or how do I erase the to be determined entry in passbook, since nothing will become of it since the guy must've accepted another trip that came up right with mine? I am almost certain that if there isn't a debit entry in online banking that there hasn't been a charge for it, but I wonder when Apple expires these out? -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
