Other than the $95, the ability to more easily save scans as one document and the speed of the text recognition. Prizmo's quick capture mode works great if you don't ever want to save a document. You can save documents with Prizmo, it just takes quite a few steps to do that. You select create new document and do your scan, select done in the bottom right corner, then double tap on where it shows page 1, then on the next screen find the recognize button in the upper right. Once you have done that, you can elect to save the document. You can scan several pages before recognizing them, or choose to export the pages at which time you will have an option to recognize all pages before exporting, and it will do all the pages, etc. So, if you are fine with just taking a bit longer to get all that together, no need to spend the $99.99 for KNFB Reader.
