Hello Wren, If the app works the way it did a couple of years ago when I first tried it when 8 books were offered free the opening screen has pictures of what I think are book covers of the books in the library. You can touch or double tap the book you want to read and it will open. As I recall I could read text after the book was open but that was it. I had the books in other forms so I didn't pursue it.
