With handwriting: you swipe up/down with 3 fingers to switch between lowercase, uppercase, numbers and punctuation. Swipe left with two fingers to delete. There is currently a bug when you rodar to handwriting, where you have to write a letter in lowercase and erase it before you can switch to uppercase. I prefer writing in uppercase if possible though I can do lowercase letters too. Not sure if there is a handwriting option for symbols. Perhaps you can contact Apple Accessibility and suggest that it be added: [email protected]
