My guess for those wondering, is that the main purpose of the fix was to address themissing ring tone issue. I read on Twitter that the main kernel of the iOS 8.1.1 wasn't even upgraded. This tells me it's a minor update indeed if the main kernel is still the same. So, what this means is that people should not expect a huge bug fix all of a sudden by upgrading from 8.1.1 to 8.1.2. Now, if you are on anything older than 8.1.1, then you should definitely upgrade, especially if you are on 8.0 or 8.0.2. For those of you still on 7.X, only you guys can decide on whether to upgrade or nt. I won't go into all that because it's been rehashed to death on this list on who and who should and should not upgrade to iOS 8.X.
