Hey folks, this will be my last question of the day. I hope it's not
obvious, but when I asked Siri to schedule an appt, I didn't know in what
order to tell her the specifics such as date, time and name of the
appointment.
It seems she is titling all the appointments as appointment. I don't get
confirmation of the date unless I ask her later if I have an appt on that
day. I don't think the date is even spoken when later I ask her to check if
I have any appointments then tell her to give me the details once she has
asked. I can go into calendar and see if the date was marked correctly but
why doesn't Siri tell me the date; instead I get the day of the week the
appt was made for, such as Tuesday. That might mean that very day rather
than the Tuesday of the next week.
I'm not a particularly trusting type as of yet, with Siri or my own
input, so I need to double check by going into calendar. I have to do that
anyway because I want to set the alert function. Oh, maybe once inside the
calendar I can ask Siri to title something? I am going to give that a try
now along with setting alerts. I did read through the section in Dresdner
about how to create appts but it said nothing about specific language to use
for giving Siri the details. Deidre
