Hi,
As I stated previously its main focus is the alerting of precipitation. It
does not do severe weather alerts. You'd need to use another app to gain
access to those.
I hope that clarifies.
And yes it does alert for any precipitation frozen or other wise. We had
sleet and snow flurries today.
