While it hasn't been updated in a long time, GigDaddy $2.99 has a good drum machine, but is also a multi-track recorder. It still works with iOS 8 though it hasn't been updated since 2011. If you search for "free drum machine" there are tons of free apps you could try out that would probably be less complex than GigDaddy. Good luck, Richard
