Hi Max, There is no direct way to restore text messages on the iPhone. I can potentially be done via iCloud, i.e. you will have to sign in to www.iCloud.com and see if text messages are backed up there. If so then you can restore them provided you regularly back up to iCloud. Below is a link to an article which explains how. Unfortunately the iCloud website is notoriously difficult to navigate with a screenreader and you may need sighted help.
