I use that all the time. You take the phone away from your ear, give it a second so the screen can come back on (it is off so your cheek doesn't press buttons), then double tap two fingers anywhere on the screen. If you do it too quickly after lowering the phone, the screen won't yet be on and you might think the gesture isn't working. Remember that, when you lower the phone, it will switch to speakerphone mode automatically. I normally put my right thumb over the speaker as I do this to muffle any sounds from the other caller, especially if I'm hanging up on a voicemail prompt or similarly loud noise. > On Dec 17, 2014, at 8:35 AM, Colin Matthews > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi! > So do you have a problem with the 2 finger double tap to end calls because > that can be done anywhere on the screen! > Colin > > On 17 Dec 2014, at 13:26, [email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]> <[email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > >> Hi all, >> >> I think it's time I said clearly thatI'm really still not happy about the >> iPhone's method(s)of ending phone calls.
